We have chosen Herts Young Homeless as our charity of the year throughout 2022 here at David Lloyd, Hatfield.

We are really excited to kickstart the fundraising with a sponsored swim so let’s get the fundraising off to a great start.  Whether you are a swimmer, a parent or just a member of the club, we'd love your support.

hyh is an independent charity dedicated to supporting 16-24 year olds who are homeless or threatened with homelessness across Hertfordshire. Safe and secure accommodation is the essential foundation from which young people can achieve a successful independent life but every day young people are homeless locally.

hyh have developed mediation, education and prevention services with the purpose of avoiding the misery of a breakdown in family relationships. Where this is not possible the charity help young people secure and maintain appropriate accommodation by providing information, support and help in a crisis, including overcoming issues of drug and alcohol dependency and poor mental health.
